New York’s Amazing Baby have announced details of the release of a new single, Headdress.

The single, out on June 15th 2009 through Cooperative Music, is taken from their debut album, Rewild, which comes out a week later on June 22nd.

The single, released on download, was recorded and mixed (and co-produced with the band) by Claudius Mittendorfer at Electric Ladyland studio in New York late last year, as part of the album sessions.

The band, who recently played Shepherd's Bush Empire as part of the NME Awards series of shows and a brace of gigs at the recent SxSW festival in Austin Texas, will be playing a number of shows in the US with the Cold War Kids before arriving in the UK for their own headline shows alongside some support slots with The Virgins.
